Neutrality of the Mediator
The Mediator has to try actively
that each side has to take the responsibility for her/his-self and
that all decisions are reasonable for both of them.
The basic requirement of Mediation
is that the Mediator constantly makes the effort to
understand exactly what the conflict parties are explaining.
As soon as they know that the
Mediator sympathises with them, then they get the feeling
that at least one participant is with them.
In such a situation, in which all
feel deeply misunderstood that is not half bad.
