      Wath is Mediation

The initial idea of Mediation is the amicably conflict settlement between different conflict parties through interference (mediation).

The term Mediation comes from the Latin word "mediare" – mediate - interfere.

The participation of the conflict parties is voluntarily and one or more Third Parties (Mediator) is leading the procedure.

The important thing is that the conflict parties are developing independently their own solution.

The aim of Mediation should be that all conflict parties are identifying with the solutions. In the process of Mediation there are no losers.

In principle there are some different results in conflicts:

- The conflict stays unprocessed.
Both parties are unhappy.                                                              Lose <-> Lose

- It leads to a court case.
One party wins, one party loses. One party is unhappy.              Win <-> Lose

- Successful Mediation. Both parties are working on a solution.
Both parties win. Both parties are happy.                                        Win <-> Win
